Turkmenistan-South Korea: The importance of establishing direct air flights was noted

During the Turkmen-Korean business conference held in Ashgabat on Tuesday, South Korean President Yoon Seok-yol said it is important to establish direct air flights between the two countries.

According to the official press of Turkmenistan, Yun Sok Yol noted that Turkmenistan, which is very rich in hydrocarbon resources and has the fourth place in the world in terms of natural gas reserves, is effectively cooperating with the Republic of Korea, which has advanced technological developments in the industrial sector. He said that it is necessary to accelerate the pace of cooperation.

"There are great opportunities for effective cooperation in the shipbuilding industry as well. South Korea has a strong industrial potential in this area. Currently, Korean and Turkmen specialists are working together on the construction of multi-purpose marine vessels at the "Balkan" Shipbuilding and Repair Plant," President Yun Sok Yol said in his speech.

President Yun Sok Yol said that South Korea and Turkmenistan are committed to comprehensive positive cooperation and expressed confidence that the business meeting will serve as a reliable foundation for further development of traditional friendly and cooperative relations.

Also on the same day, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a meeting with the President of the Republic of Korea Yun Seok-yol.
