During the meeting, the parties noted that a special place is attached to the cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries in the further development of friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation, and they exchanged views on the possibilities of expanding the scope of cooperation in this field in the future.

In the conversation, it was emphasized that the work of the parliamentary friendship groups created on a bilateral basis increases the opportunities for the exchange of experience in the improvement of legislation and parliamentary work.

Organizational issues related to the regular parliamentary forum of the Central Asian states and the Russian Federation were also discussed. It was noted that this forum enhances mutually advantageous cooperation with the Central Asian countries and the Russian Federation, and serves to effectively and multilaterally develop international relations.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed confidence that effective parliamentary relations will be successfully developed and enriched with new content.
