On 2 October 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with the Director of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Resident Mission in Turkmenistan Artur Andrysiak.

During the meeting, the sides discussed further development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the ADB.

In this regard, the importance of collaboration between the representatives of the Government and the banking sector of Turkmenistan with the leadership and relevant structures of the ADB was emphasized.

At the same time, various issues were considered related to further expansion of the legal-contractual framework of bilateral cooperation and the implementation of specific projects envisioned for implementation in Turkmenistan with the participation of the ADB.
