On October 8, 2025, a meeting was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan with a delegation of business circles from the North Khorasan Province of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the meeting, specific proposals aimed at the further strengthening of bilateral business cooperation were discussed.

Representatives of the North Khorasan business circles noted that an exhibition of goods produced in Turkmenistan was successfully held in the Iranian city of Gorgan in May 2025. The guests also emphasized that all conditions have been created for organizing a similar exhibition in the Bojnourd city, and highlighted Bojnourd’s favorable geographic location from a logistics perspective for hosting an exposition of Turkmen goods.

Furthermore, proposals for expanding export-import operations, creating online and offline business platforms, and placing information about manufacturing companies were reviewed at the meeting.

The parties expressed confidence in the continued fruitful development of trade, economic, and business cooperation between the two countries, and wished success to the important work being carried out in this direction.
