Special attention was paid to the fact that inter-parliamentary relations are an integral part of intergovernmental cooperation. This year, it is planned to hold the second meeting of the parliamentary leaders of the Central Asian countries and the Republic of Korea in Ashgabat.

Korean companies have expressed their interest in implementing the Ashgabat-city project. Within the framework of this large project, it is planned to build modern residential buildings, transport infrastructure, ecological zones, and modern recreation centers. It was noted that solving problems related to climate change and environmental protection is one of the most promising areas of bilateral cooperation. It was said that there are great opportunities for cooperation in information technologies and artificial intelligence, telecommunications, and space systems. Cultural-humanitarian system, science and education, health care, sports, and tourism were also mentioned as important areas of cooperation.

Within the framework of the "Korea-Silk Road" (K-Silk Road) cooperation initiative, preparations were approved to support the expansion of relations between Central Asian countries and the Republic of Korea. According to the results of the negotiations, a large set of bilateral documents aimed at deepening mutually advantageous cooperation and enriching its meaning was signed.

On June 11, during the meeting of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, with the President of the Republic of Korea, Yoon Sok Yol, the possibilities of developing effective Turkmen-Korean cooperation, enriching it with new meaning in accordance with the requirements of today's times were considered. Speaking at the meeting, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan said that so far there are 14 investment projects with the participation of Korean companies in the country with a total value of more than 11 billion US dollars. Development of trade, economic and investment cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea formed the main content of the discussions. Introduction of oil and gas chemistry, energy, transport and communication, logistics, shipbuilding, industry, construction, infrastructure, agriculture, ecologically clean technologies have been identified as promising areas of cooperation.
