On the occasion of declaring the "Ocean of Wisdom Magtymguly Pyragy" year, on the occasion of the day of culture and artists and the poetry of Magtymguly Pyragy, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine organized a football tournament among students studying in higher education institutions of Kyiv.

At the beginning of the sports tournament, the diplomatic staff of the Embassy told about the regular mass sports events held in our country, the construction of many sports facilities, the reconstruction of the fields for active sports and recreation. On the basis of the initiative of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, special attention is paid to the development of physical education and sports, and the introduction of healthy lifestyles.

Turkmen youth actively support Turkmenistan's sports initiatives. The mini-football tournament held in the capital of Ukraine is an important support for the strategy of developing physical education and sports among the Turkmen youth and is an excellent example for the younger generation.

The event was held in honor of the upcoming double holiday, the Day of Culture and Artists of Turkmenistan and the Day of Poetry of Magtymguly Pyragy.

"Eagle" team took 1st place, "Ussat" team took 2nd place, and "Yyldyz" team took 3rd place in the sports competition held among Turkmen students studying at universities in Kyiv.

The "Eagle" team's captain was solemnly presented with the Champions Migration Cup prepared for the Embassy football tournament, and all the participants of the football tournament were thanked for their active participation in the sports activities and wished success to them on behalf of the Embassy.
