Turkmenistan’s delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov is attending the World Government Summit in Dubai from Feb. 3-5, 2026, according to the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
The summit brings together more than 30 heads of state and government, about 150 government delegations and some 6,000 representatives of global companies, international financial institutions and educational institutions.
The agenda includes global governance, the development of artificial intelligence technologies, climate change and integrated approaches to addressing economic challenges.
Speaking at the session titled “The Future of Global Alliances,” Meredov outlined Turkmenistan’s approaches to addressing key issues facing the international community.
The foreign minister emphasized the role of practical cooperation tools, including effective public administration, the exchange of expertise, unlocking countries’ economic potential through transport connectivity and improving energy efficiency.
On the sidelines of the summit, the Turkmen diplomat also held talks with UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and ADNOC CEO Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber.
