According to the press service of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), the draft agreement on the permissible weight, load and dimensions of vehicles has been agreed by the EEU. These requirements apply to roads entering the Eurasian traffic corridors. The Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the European Economic Commission Arzybek Kozheshov says that he is confident that the implementation of the agreement will increase the transit potential of the Eurasian Economic Union.

According to the document, uniform regulatory requirements for the passage of vehicles with the weight, volume and dimensions of cargo allowed to operate on the roads entering the Eurasian traffic corridors will be included.

The deal is expected to enter into force in the fourth quarter of 2024. Because it is planned to organize the contract signing event by the vice-premiers of the Union states in the third quarter of the year.
