Turkmenistan is actively implementing program reforms for the development of the fuel and energy complex (FEC). As a result of recent drilling operations at the country's largest gas field, Galkynyş, a significant industrial gas flow has been achieved, TDH reports.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasizes ambitious tasks for the fuel and energy complex, including prospecting and exploration work to open new fields, increasing production and processing of hydrocarbons, as well as diversifying routes for supplying energy resources to world markets. An important role is played by the introduction of innovations in the oil and gas industry, drilling and repair of wells, with the involvement of foreign specialized companies and investments.

Modern technological developments are used at all stages of the production process in the gas industry, from exploration of new fields to transportation and storage of hydrocarbons, ensuring reliable supply to end consumers.

Key objectives include the creation of innovative production for hydrocarbon processing and increasing the export potential of the fuel and energy complex through diversification. This also covers the development of new fields and the development of pipeline networks for transporting energy resources, as well as the increased use of digital technologies in geological exploration, including 3D and 4D modeling.

Thanks to significant reserves of natural gas and an advantageous geographical location, Turkmenistan creates the preconditions for expanding partnerships in the energy sector. Technological modernization of infrastructure helps strengthen this cooperation.

The Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India gas pipeline, the construction of which continues, is an important part of the country’s energy strategy. It is also aimed at improving and expanding the capabilities of the fuel and energy complex and creating a new system for supplying energy resources to the world market.

Large investment projects in the energy sector are aimed not only at satisfying economic interests, but also at strengthening regional and global security, as well as improving the well-being of the population.

The opening of a new gas flow is a striking example of the successful implementation of the strategy to strengthen the position of the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan in the global energy market and the development of infrastructure projects.
