Representatives of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the WHO representative office in Turkmenistan participate in trainings to support the digitization of health information systems. This is reported by HHM.

As noted, the event, funded by the European Union, is being held in Berlin.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss best international practices and provide the necessary skills and knowledge to take full advantage of the digitalization of healthcare.

Digitization of health care systems is considered by experts as a sequence that can reduce the rate of growth of the costs of operating the system, improve the quality of medical services provided in the short and long term, increase clinical, social and economic efficiency, as well as increase the availability of medical care.

The study will run until July 12, 2024.
