Practical sports competitions on fire fighting were held among teenagers vacationing at children's health and recreation centers in Gokdere.

According to "Turkmenistan: Altyn Asyr" electronic publication, 14 groups of children's health and recreation centers participated in this competition organized by the Fire Safety Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan together with other departments.

The contestants had to go through five stages, demonstrating their skills and abilities in firefighting.

In the first stage, the guys had to run through wooden beams, pick up a water hose lying on the ground, first connect it to a water pipe, then disconnect it and continue running. In the second stage, they overcame various obstacles on bicycles with balls in their hands. The third stage of the competition involved using a fire extinguisher. In the fourth and fifth stages, the contestants had to explain the rules of putting out an artificial fire.

According to the results of the competition, the first place was won by the team of "Demiryolchy" children's health and recreation center, the second place was won by the participants of the "Cynar" children's health and recreation center, and the third place went to the team of "Shöhle" children's health and recreation center.

Winners and prize-winners were awarded with diplomas, letters of honor and valuable souvenirs.

The organizers of the competition noted that other entertainment activities, trips to art museums and sightseeing of the capital are also planned for the young people who are vacationing in Gökdere.

These activities are aimed at the comprehensive and harmonious development of adolescents, not only for recreation, but also for the development of useful skills that will be needed in the future.
