In Turkmenistan, in January-July of this year, work on the development of physical education, sports, and training of professional athletes continued. During the reporting period, Turkmen athletes participated in 115 international competitions and won a total of 391 (127 gold, 110 silver, 154 bronze) medals. As reported by TDH, this was stated in the report of Vice-Premier B. Orazdurdyeva at the Government meeting held on August 30.

Also, as noted in the report, the Ashgabat Olympic Campus Tennis Complex was declared the "Tennis training center of the Asian region" and was awarded a certificate by the Asian Tennis Federation.
