A new season of theater plays and circus performances opened in Turkmenistan at the beginning of September.

As reported by "Turkmenistan: Golden Age", the opening of the theater season began with plays mainly dedicated to the life and work of Magtymguly.

Thus, the Main Drama Theater named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi the Great invited spectators to the play Magtymguly-köňül guşy, and the National Drama Theater of Turkmenistan named after Alp Arslan - to the play Akyldar.

The Turkmen National Music and Drama Theater named after Makhtumkuli opened the new season with the play Pursat, the State Russian Drama Theater named after A.S. Pushkin - with the play Türkmeniň bagty, the Student Drama Theater named after Mollanepes - with the play Ýegdir galsa ýagşy at, the State Drama Theater named after Aman Gulmammedov in the city of Arkadag - with the play Älem nury.

The Turkmen State Puppet Theater offered the play Aladdin to young spectators.

Theatrical groups in the velayats prepared the following plays for the new season:

Dowamatdyr, bagtyýardyr, sarsmaz türkmen binasy at the State Drama Theater of the Balkan Velayat named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi the Great;
The show "Winged Horses" was held at the Dashoguz Velayat State Music and Drama Theater named after N. Andalib;
The show "Winged Horses" was held at the Lebap Velayat State Music and Drama Theater named after Seyitnazar Seydi;
The show "Winged Horses" was held at the Mary Velayat State Drama Theater named after Kemine.
The State Circus of Turkmenistan opened the season with the show "Winged Horses".

The show "Winged Horses, Arkadag" was held at the Gorogly State Equestrian Circus in Arkadag. The Arkadag City Circus invites spectators to its shows every Sunday at 15:00. Here you can see performances by acrobats, gymnasts, jugglers, clowns, funny monkeys, as well as riders from the famous equestrian group "Galkynysh".
