The team of the Dashoguz State Musical and Drama Theater named after Nurmukhammed Andalib opened the season with a new production dedicated to this year's motto "The Treasure of Makhtumkuli Fragi's Mind".

A colorful theatrical musical and song performance based on the script of playwright O. Ovezov and directed by director B. Khallyev is based on the works of Makhtumkuli Fragi. This was reported by "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The new performance covers the period in the life of the great thinker and poet when he returned to his native places after studying in Khiva. The fellow countrymen are eagerly awaiting Makhtumkuli, recalling lines from his poems, singing songs composed on them... As the events unfold, the main theme of the action becomes the theme of the Motherland inherent in Makhtumkuli's work, the strong and united state of the Turkmens that he foresaw, the people's call for unity, serving the ideals of goodness and justice.

The image of Makhtumkuli in the new work was embodied on stage by two talented actors H. Mukhadov and D. Bayarov, the role of Mengli was played by N. Khydyrova, the role of Mergen-hodja - by T. Garlyev. Many other theater artists are involved in the production, including Honored Artists of Turkmenistan H. Shikhyev and M. Seitov.

In the new season, residents of the northern region are waiting for several premieres prepared by the theater, including for the youngest viewers. Let us recall that in the new season the theatre team is preparing to present to the audience another new work dedicated to the work of Makhtumkuli Fragi - the play Şygyr diwany based on the work of the famous Turkmen writer and playwright Hemra Shirov.
