In 2024, the number of readers of Ahal province library is increasing. During the last eight months of this year, the number of new readers of the library reached 650. The total number of readers exceeded 21,600. This figure is significantly higher than in the same period last year. This was reported in the "Turkmenistan" newspaper.

As mentioned in the news, the book fund of the provincial library was enriched in January-August. During the reporting period, with the gradual arrival of new publications from the "Galkynysh" book center, its book fund reached 52 thousand 400. During that time, more than 50,000 books of various contents, including 12,900 political publications, 16,800 fiction books, 8,700 children's books, and 11,000 other books were read by readers.

It is noted in the report that the books of the President of Turkmenistan "Youth - the motherland" and "Anew - a culture rooted in millennia" have also been distributed to the provincial library.
