Today, the grand opening of the International Health and Rehabilitation Center for 400 people and the International Scientific and Clinical Center of Physiology for 250 people was held in Ashgabat, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

The ceremony was attended by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The opening of new facilities was an important event in the framework of the celebration of the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers.

“As a result of the consistent implementation of the State Program “Saglyk”, the main developer and ideological inspirer of which is the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who has been in charge of the healthcare sector for a long time, the country has been expanding the sector's infrastructure in recent years, strengthening its material and technical base, actively introducing innovative technologies, the best world experience and achievements in the field of medicine”, - the report says.
