Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Georgia exceeded $80 million in 2024

In 2024, the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Georgia reached $80 million, as reported by the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

Turkmen exports to Georgia amounted to $58.09 million, while imports from Georgia to Turkmenistan reached $22.9 million.

The main share of Turkmen exports consisted of oil and petroleum products totaling $45.4 million. Turkmenistan also supplied Georgia with petroleum coke and bitumen ($4.8 million), gypsum-based building mixtures ($1.7 million), nitrogen fertilizers ($1.05 million), and trucks ($831,000).

Georgia, in turn, exported food and medical goods to Turkmenistan. Leading positions were held by poultry meat and meat products ($11.4 million), orthopedic products and artificial body parts ($2.6 million), and packaged pharmaceuticals ($1.8 million). Additionally, Turkmenistan imported passenger cars from Georgia worth $1.1 million.
