On March 26, 2025, a presentation of the book "Magtymguly - sage of the world" by the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, was held at Sunway University Malaysia. The event was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Malaysia.

The presentation was attended by the faculty of the university, as well as students from Turkmenistan studying at this university.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Malaysia, M. Mashalov, in his speech spoke about the content of the book "Magtymguly - sage of the world", noting the significance of the poet's work in the context of promoting the principles of peace and trust.

As emphasized, by a special Resolution of the UN General Assembly, initiated by the President of Turkmenistan, 2025 has been declared the "International Year of Peace and Trust", which also marks the 30th anniversary of our country's neutrality. Special attention of the participants was focused on the importance of Turkmenistan's positive neutrality and its application as a constructive mechanism in strengthening peace and stability on the planet.

At the end of the event, the book "Magtymguly - sage of the world" by the President of Turkmenistan was donated to the library fund of Sunway University.
