The Gallery of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat will open an exhibition titled “2025 – The International Year of Peace and Trust”, according to official media reports from Turkmenistan.

The exhibition will feature a diverse collection of paintings, graphics, sculptures, and decorative and applied arts, all centered around the themes of peace, mutual understanding, and trust among nations.

The event is part of the broader celebration of the International Year of Peace and Trust, declared by the United Nations General Assembly at its 63rd plenary meeting of the 78th session on March 21, 2024. The resolution was initiated by Turkmenistan and was supported by 86 countries.

A major international forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, the International Day of Neutrality, and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality is scheduled to take place in Ashgabat on December 12, 2025.
