The Turkmen Language and Culture Center of V.N. Tatishev Astrakhan State University organized an event dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen thinker Magtymguly Pyragy with the participation of the students of this higher education institution. This was reported by the press service of ASU.

The event was held near the monument of Magtymguly Pyragy, where the students of ASU Turkmenistan read poems of the poet in Turkmen and Russian languages, and also told about his life and creativity.

As mentioned, this event complemented the events organized by V.N. Tatishev Astrakhan State University on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy. Performing artistic readings of Magtymguly Pyragy's poems has become a noble tradition for Turkmen students studying at the university.
