The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan Atajan Movlamov, held a meeting on Tuesday in Islamabad with Muhammad Ali Durrani, a prominent Pakistani politician and Head of the Pakistan–Turkmenistan Parliamentary Friendship Group. During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for organizing joint exhibitions, business delegation exchanges, and investment forums aimed at boosting economic cooperation.

Ambassador Movlamov presented Turkmenistan’s foreign policy strategy and highlighted the country’s trade and economic potential as well as investment opportunities, according to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan.

At the conclusion of the talks both parties confirmed their mutual interest in expanding business ties and strengthening bilateral cooperation.

Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Pakistan were established on February 7, 1992.
