Turkmenbashi Port Handles 4.2 Million Tons in H1 2025

The Turkmenbashi International Seaport handled 4.2095 million tons of cargo in the first half of 2025, Turkmenistan’s official media reported on Saturday.

Of the total volume, 2.608 million tons were processed at dry cargo terminals, while 1.6015 million tons were related to the transshipment of oil and petroleum products.

During the six-month period, export cargo amounted to 2.09168 million tons, while imports totaled 620,803 tons and transit shipments reached 569,605 tons.

The main transport routes include Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey, Georgia, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.

The development of logistics infrastructure, the implementation of electronic document processing, and the creation of favorable conditions for clients have made the Turkmenbashi Port a key hub along international transit corridors, strengthening transport links between Asia and Europe.
